How to get your CPCS Red Trained Operator Card

To get your Red Trained Operator Card you must complete the following steps:

Pass the CPCS Health, Safety and Environment Test within the last two years. You can book online here. 

Pass the relevant CPCS Technical Tests (Theory and Practical) with an approved CPCS Test Centre in the right plant category. Find a CPCS Test Centre here.

You will now automatically be awarded your 2 year CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.

Within the lifetime of this CPCS Red Trained Operator Card (2 years), you need to register and achieve an NVQ/SVQ.
