EQA Team Gets Hands-On at Lynch Standardisation Meeting

The EQA team recently came together at Lynch for our regular standardisation meeting — combining important quality assurance discussions with a valuable opportunity to get back to our practical roots.

The meeting provided a chance to reflect on the scheme, share ideas for improvement and discuss how we can continue to support centres effectively. A key focus was identifying and removing unnecessary barriers for centres, while making sure feedback from centres continues to inform and shape the way we work.

Standardisation meetings are an important part of maintaining consistency and quality across the scheme, giving our EQAs the opportunity to share experiences, challenge ideas and work together towards continuous improvement.

But it wasn’t all meeting rooms and paperwork!

A big thank you to Lynch for hosting a plant machinery skills session, giving the team the chance to refresh their practical skills and get hands-on with the equipment.

With all of our EQAs being former plant operatives, it was fantastic to step back into the world of plant machinery. Getting back on the kit was a great reminder of the practical experience and industry knowledge that our team brings to their EQA roles.

It was also a brilliant opportunity to brush up on skills, share experiences and enjoy a bit of healthy competition along the way! Quality assurance, continuous improvement and practical experience — all in one day.

A huge thanks to everyone at Lynch for their hospitality and for putting the team through their paces. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
